FAQ

Useful Information

Please send us any other questions you have so we can answer them for you and add them to this FAQ page!

Q: DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?
A: NO! You are welcome tp join us on a drop in basis. We do suggest that you purchase a membership if you are attending classes on a regular schedule, as that is the best value!

Q: WHAT CLASS SHOULD I START WITH?

A: Any of our Intro Courses or Level 1 classes are great places to start.

Each apparatus has its own challenges. On pole you can expect you feel a pinch on the skin as you use you skin to stick while holding you sits and poses. The hoop is a thin bar that will dig in a little while moving from poses to pose. The hammock will give you a good squeeze as we wrap and twist through shapes and combos. Lastly, Fabpole combines pole and hammock so you can expect a combination of sensations and potentially some dizziness, as this class is all done on a spin pole. All our apparatuses are fun we suggest you give everything a try!

Q: HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND CLASSES?

A: We recommend once per week to start. If you have a higher existing fitness level, you could come more frequently.

Q: CAN I ATTEND ANY LEVEL OF CLASS?

A: Yes and no. We ask that you try to stay at your level but sometimes our schedule does not always allow that. You can go to a lower level class then what you are training at but you CANNOT go to a higher level class. When you are attending a lower level class you will be doing the lower level skills that the instructor has prepared for the class. It is always good to have a refresher and go over old skills so please be respectful and only practice the skills that are being taught at that class or what the instructor is giving you.

Q: HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?

A: You can register for class through the website or you can download our app to sign up as well. We do recommend you pre-register to make sure you have a spot in class. You also need to sign up a minimum of 24 hours before class, if you are signing up late please send us a message and we will add you.

Check out this video on how to use the app to sign up for class.

Q: WHAT IF I HAVE NO UPPER BODY STRENGTH?

A: No problem! Our classes are designed to build strength while you learn new skills. Most of our students begin class with little upper body strength and are able to execute skills and tricks that don't require a high strength level.

Q:WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

A: This depends on the apparatus, and trick/skill being taught.

POLE: Usually shorts and a tank top to start, as we work towards more advanced skills we need more skin for proper stick. This is up to you and your comfort level, but most students wear bra tops and pole shorts.

HOOP: The hoop we train with is taped, which can be rough on our skin, so we suggest leggings and a fitted t-shirt or tank top.

HAMMOCK: While in the hammock we can experience fabric burn, so we suggest leggings and a fitted t-shirt or tank top.

FABPOLE: This apparatus combines pole and hammock, we can experience fabric burn and also need skin for proper stick. We suggest leggings and a fitted t-shirt or tank top, and recommend bringing shorts along.
